Welcome to the Kristin Pool Piano Studio! What an amazing opportunity it is to praise our God through music and even more exciting to see students praising God through playing the piano. My vision is to build a strong Christian-based learning environment for all ages. I will encourage each student to attain their highest musical potential through performance, memorization, technique, theory, sight- reading, music history and ear training.
Each lesson, students can earn points based on their practice, memorization, theory, technique, performances, and attended musical performances. At the end of the year recital, these points are added up and prizes are given based on the points.
I am excited to introduce a new opportunity to gain more points! I will be encouraging the students to learn more about composers. They will be expected to read information about a monthly composer and then take a quiz. By doing this, the student will earn more points for the end of the year recital.
I am currently accepting students for the 2013 Fall Semester. My studio is based out of Calvary Baptist Church in Tyler, Texas. If you or your child would be interested in taking lessons, please contact me by phone at (501)339-3003 or by email at kristinpoolpianostudio@gmail.com.
I hope to hear from you soon!
